Role Overview
Our Client is part of a leading European-based aircraft network and provides engineering services to lessors who own and lease aircraft engines. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Supporting the Organisation Training, Competency assessment and Authorisation procedures.
- Assisting with External Authority and Customer surveillance audits.
- Working with the company team and MES network Quality Teams IAW common procedures and standards.
- Maintaining and updating Quality KPI data and information.
- Supporting the Organisation’s Continuous Improvement programme and projects.

Job Description
As the Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for providing a high level of guidance to the business and:
- Reporting to the Quality Manager regarding Implementing and maintaining Quality, and SMS procedure, our Process Documentation system ProX.
- Reporting to the Quality Manager regarding internal and external Quality Audit Findings, CA/PA implementation and effectivity evaluations.
- Liaising with external auditors and regulatory authorities.
- Reporting to the Quality Manager regarding SMS Risk Evaluations and Change Management.
- Reporting to the Quality Manager regarding the Organisation’s Internal Occurrence reporting system (q/star) and supporting Continuous Improvement.
- Promoting, encouraging and supporting the Organisation’s SMS, Just Culture and compliance with the companies processes and standards.
Person Specification
- Qualification in a Mechanical / Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a multinational environment. Experience in a repair or manufacturing environment (Aircraft Engine experience would be advantageous).
- Knowledge and experience of Aviation EASA Part 145 / EN 9110 requirements.
- Auditor training and experience in an Aerospace Environment or equivalent.
- A strong ability to encourage a positive safety culture and apply a Just Culture.
- In-depth knowledge and experience of maintenance Work Orders, Job Cards and OEM approved data.
- Good maintenance error investigation skills and Error / Violation analysis.
- Experience managing Integrated Management System (MOE) in compliance with EASA Part 145.
- Ability to learn & understand the basic operation of a network company rapidly.
- Highly motivated – ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team, willing to take ownership of work.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Computer literate, excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and a general competence in utilising new technologies.
- Be methodical, logical, efficient, and highly organised with emphasis on statistical evaluation.
- Performing and maintaining the Organisation internal auditing and corrective / preventative action system.
- Performing error investigations and maintaining the Organisation and Documentation system (ProX).
- Reviewing and accepting documentation and process associated with Repair changes and New Product Introduction
- Promoting the Organisation SMS, Human Factors, and Just Culture policies and activities.
