REPORTING TO: Production Manager Site 1
Job Purpose:
The Planner/Scheduler is responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules to ensure efficient manufacturing operations. This role involves coordinating with various departments and analysing production data to improve efficiency and address issues that arise during the production process.
Principal Accountabilities:
• Create and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands and delivery deadlines.
• Collaborate closely with production, inventory, and procurement teams to ensure a seamless and timely process.
• Evaluate production processes and data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency.
• Ensure that production processes adhere to industry standards and safety regulations.
• Generate and present production reports to management, highlighting performance metrics and areas for improvement.
• Identify potential delays or problems in the production process and develop solutions to mitigate them.
Knowledge/Experience:
• Previous experience in production planning, scheduling, or a related role in manufacturing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Proficiency in production planning software and tools.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Knowledge of inventory management and supply chain operations.
• Highly organised and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
